Kim Quigley, MD, FABPN

Onrise Leadership Team Kimberly Quigley, MD, FABPN- Dr. Quigley is board certified in Psychiatry after completing a Pediatric internship and subsequent Psychiatry residency. She has 20 years of experience caring for the behavioral health needs of children and families across many systems of care. She is a Member of the International Society of Sport Psychiatry, the American College of Sports Medicine and has completed a Certificate in Player Care from the UK-based Player Care Group. She has three children and one soccer player.

Kevin Orpurt, LCSW

Chief Clinical Officer
Kevin Orpurt, LCSW- Mr. Orpurt has over 30 years of experience coordinating programs and providing direct psychotherapy in the child welfare, community mental health, and substance abuse fields. He earned an MSW from Tulane University after completing his undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame. His career highlights include coordinating the intake department of DePaul Treatment Centers, Inc in Portland, Oregon, Directing Holston Home for Children’s Knoxville Family Service Center, and a dual role at Cherokee Health Systems coordinating the Union County outpatient mental health and day treatment programs while also serving as the behavior health consultant on the primary care team. Mr. Orpurt also has extensive Mobile Crisis experience. Consistent with his training at Tulane, he employs a systems approach to caring for patients and their families

Brenda McBride, MD, FAAP, ABPNS

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. McBride completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics followed by a Medical Nutrition fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She also completed the prestigious Fellowship in Inte Medicine at the University of Arizona. She practices nutritional mental health in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Tasha Saunders MAT

Senior Player Care Specialist (she/her/hers)
Tasha is a passionate, empathic leader skilled in solution-oriented care. Tasha oversees our team of Player Care Specialists. Tasha grew up playing soccer at a competitive level, including playing on the Tennessee ODP team, and continued her career at Sewanee as a four-year Varsity starter. She is passionate about providing genuine care for athletes at all levels, with a specialty in soccer, adversity in education, and injury recovery. Tasha has her Masters in the Art of Education and BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of the South: Sewanee. Additionally, Tasha holds her teaching license in Colorado with a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Endorsement, has her Player Care Certification, and has completed training in Mental Health First Aid training for Adults and Youth.

Derrick Furlow

Jr. Director of Athlete Engagement (he/him/his)

Derrick Furlow Jr. is a former collegiate and professional athlete. Completing his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and Master in Sports Psychology in 4 years at the University of Tennessee. CEO Sport Life Business, LLC, where he authored multiple books such as “What’s Next? How To Transition Like A Champion,” The Transition Playbook curriculum & Athlete to Entrepreneur along with over 11 other ebooks. All are specifically created to help athletes and high performers transition from one phase of life to the next. Founder of SLB The Agency, the first mental health sports agency designed to help athletes get NIL deals with brands but specifically with mental health clinics.

Derrick was recognized as one of the top 40-under-40 business leaders in 2020. Working internationally with UK Governing Bodies, Professional Athletes & Organizations, Student Athletes & Collegiate Teams, HR Departments, Universities, Sales Organizations, and Corporate leadership. Outside of his non-profit history and personal philanthropy work leading the XHunger movement to end hunger in America. Derrick is pushing the agenda to impact, inspire and empower everyone he encounters.

Emma Grace Barton

Player Care Specialist, Project Manager (she/her/hers)
Emma Grace received her Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Sport Management and Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in August 2020. Masters of Science in Sport Management expected from Tennessee in May 2023. She has experience working with athletes directly through her number of internships with sports agents and time spent as both a Recruiting and Player Development Assistant with the University of Tennessee Football team. She spent the last year as the Director of Operations for One Knoxville Sporting Club, a men’s USL2 soccer team located in Knoxville, TN. She is in the process of receiving her Player Care Certification from the UK-Based Player Care Group and is certified in Mental Health First Aid for Adults.

Chandler Hallwood

Player Care Marketing Specialist (he/him/his)
Chandler graduated Marquette University in Fall 2022. Achieving a double major in Real Estate and Marketing. As well as success in the classroom, Chandler became one of the most decorated Student-Athletes in the history of Marquette Men’s Soccer team, competing in the Division 1 Big East Conference. Originally from Halifax, England, Chandler moved to the United States in 2018 to pursue his goals of studying and playing soccer in America. Through this journey, Chandler has gained excellent people skills that make him a valuable asset to us here at Onrise. As a former Student-Athlete, Chandler is passionate about helping the current generation of student-athletes and evolving their experience. Chandler is always a phone call away, and welcomes any conversation!

Zyan Andrade

Player Care Marketing Specialist (he/him/his)
A former professional and collegiate athlete, Zyan completed his bachelor’s degree at Marquette University after transferring from the University of San Francisco, where he started his college career. He graduated with a major in Advertising and a minor in Marketing, and intends to align his education to his love for sports. Zyan is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and loves to travel and connect with people from different places and cultures. He has lived in five different countries and speaks three languages, which has helped him develop life skills that help him create and develop those connections.
